For works councils

Bankruptcies do not usually eliminate co-determination rights. Even during such proceedings works councils must be duly informed about planned business changes (§ 111 para. 1 sentence 1 / § 111 Abs. 1 Satz 1). The insolvency administrator is obliged to consult the works council about any changes to the company.
